We owned 14A Christmas Bush Avenue and 72 Thurlow Avenue, NelsonBay for approximately 6 years all up. In the beginning we rented the original house through a real estate agent and met Simon through his association with the Dutchies Motor Lodge that is next door to the property.

We demolished the old house and built 2 new houses in its place and started our relationship with Simon when they were finished. This continued with Simon looking after the houses and getting good returns for us for a few years.

We were lured away with promises of higher rent from another agent. This lasted 6 months because of the lack of care for the properties and tenants as well as the vacancy rates were not what we were used to with Simon.

Simon continued to care for both our houses from then until we sold them in October 2009.

We would like to thank Simon, Lesley and Port Stephens Getaway for doing a fantastic job looking after our houses and we recommend them to anyone. We have owned a number of  properties in the area over the years and have used a few agents in the area and these guys are the best.
